An excellent resource! Beautiful imagery and truly helpful information. I signed this out from the library but now plan to purchase.

This hefty How-to manual will inspire all those readers who love Martha, love DIY TV shows, crafters, and anyone who needs a bit of help around the house.

I love this book. A lot of the knowledge found in here can easily come with experience. However, this would make a great graduation present for someone just starting out of their own. It would have stopped me from ruining a couple things in the past relying on trial and error.

But thats always a good learning tool too.

I mean, it's exhausting to even think of doing all of this, but I do think she knows what she's talking about!

A beautiful publication and a wonderful housewarming gift. I know that it has criticisms about being too broad but I appreciate the wide range of topics it covers. If there was a subject that it spurred me to learn more about I would just get a book specifically on that subject. I also acknowledge the most of Stewart's work is aimed at a very privileged crowd. But even taking that into consideration, I find this work of domesticity to be soothing and satisfying. Definitely a reference book worthy of a spot on your bookshelf.

Flipped through. I love life guides and sometimes think about buying one in case, you know, the internet ever goes out. This one has the thoroughness and lovely design & photographs you'd expect from a Martha publication.

Despite some of her decisions and actions over the years, I remain a huge fan of Martha Stewart's actual expertise. This comprehensive tomb provides the kind of resource that would make the perfect gift for someone graduating from high school or college, or those moving into their first apartment or house, as well as those getting married. In fact, anyone at any age or life-experience level will find smart tips on how to better manage our belongings, get-togethers, and home environments. This was a great book to read at the start of the new year.
