but this was my complaint with her MC novels and yeah
i dont want to bash it but
Treat your readers like friends and give them a better effort

This series has been on my TBR for ages!! I finally decided to go for it, thanks to my GR friend, Gina who recently read this series and loved it. (Thanks for the nudge to read these, Gina!)
This is an older book; published in 2013 when this genre (new adult) was still in it's infancy. I bet it would have been a different experience to read it back in 2013. Today, it still holds it's own, but reminds me of a lot of early new adult books.
I wound up liking it more than I expected to after the slow start. There were a few things that were unrealistic and there was a lot of drama, but I was able to get into the story and enjoy it. Love always wins the day in my world and the love story in this book was really good!
I am excited to continue with the series, since I hear it gets really good!

My man's a pro-lifer and my girl's okay with sex in a slave house but "it's okay cause it's been refurbished"

This was a sweet, but properly angsty, NA book. IMO, any really good book has to have funny support characters, and this definitely had that. I am not usually a huge fan of NA, but the H was an alpha to the extent that you forget he is in college. The h was perfect for me. She has seen some shit, but is strong and not whiney at all. No cliffy, the series will just build on the story with a H POV first, then the story of the support characters. The rest of the series went on my TBR list immediately after finishing this book.

this book did not even come close to others like it such as the hookup and the deal. the characters have no chemistry, the dialogue is bad (is this what the author think southerners talk like???) and some of it just doesn't make sense. even the supposed sexy parts aren't great. stick with kristen callihan, Elle kennedy and Sarina bowen instead.

Oh my god this book I love it so much!! As much as I didn’t want it to end I couldn’t put it down! Was in love with molly and Romeo from the beginning and was riding the wave of happiness in the story then my god I was not expecting the (don’t want to spoil so let’s just say) the team dinner at the princes from then I was in floods of tears (sad tears) right up to the end (then with lots of happy tears). This is definitely a book that I would read again! I’m excited to see what the rest of the series holds but I think I’m going to have a hard time separating from molly and Romeo
