He impulsively knocks on the door and finds his future. Valentina has been set up with a new identity to get away from her father. She is lonely but loving the freedom that she has never had. When Alex Stone comes into her apartment, she feels safe with him. She pours out her story wanting to give him all of her. While telling her story, Alex discovers that she was previously betrothed to Alexi Petrov but he left Russia never to be seen again. His leaving prompted her father to try to force her to marry Alexi's much older uncle on her sixteenth birthday. Alex is happily surprised. He was that boy she was promised to. An uncanny coincidence. Valentina was his and was always supposed to be his. Destiny brought this forced couple back together with love.

Oh, Mr. Stone! I was rocked by Alex and Niki's story. This one is filled with trauma, the perfect amount of world drama, twists and turns, secrets, and spice. All come together to make an incredible story. I could NOT put this one down. From the very first page, I was hooked. Fate brings Alex and Niki together after years of hiding, being threatened, and forced to do things to ensure they would survive. Nancy Brown did an incredible job on this one, I highly recommend it for sure!

I'm loving this series! Lots of spice!

Mr Stone is the second in the Mister series. Wow! What a read! We met Mr Stone in book one and I was so happy we got to see his story. This is a mafia arrange marriage story.

Valentina as the FL was amazing. She was strong and wasn’t under any illusions of how her family was. It was refreshing. She wasn’t a timid mafia princess which I really liked.

Alex is the playboy but finding his life is unfulfilled until her meets Valentina.

It was great to see their story unwind. This is a definite read and would be better to read the first story in the series to get some background and meet Alex.
