Read this to my son tonight and I had to stop every few pages to compose myself because I was crying so much. What an amazing, beautiful book this is. Fantastic for any parent who wants to support their child, or just teach them that every one is different and those differences are what makes you special.

I just think it's nice to see that Scott Stuart (author and father) decided to Love his child whom inspired  the book and took their journey in a direction that can be helpful to other children, and parents but in a more lighthearted way which may be easier for children.

A beautifully told book. I absolutely loved the father’s role in this story. Very touching!

Fantastic story about a boy who feels different (all the men in his family have blue shadows, but his is pink). Dad seems big and intimidating at first, but he comes through in a big way for his pink-shadowed boy.

It's a beautiful story about identity and likes. Perfect for starting conversations, it doesn't seek to lead the reader towards any idea beyond accepting themselves as they are and each person for who they are, no matter what.
