The progression this series is undergoing is interesting. I still hate everyone of the characters though. It makes it hard to cheer for anyone.

Compared to the last book I read this maybe is only a three star book. However including the other books from the Falling Kingdom series, this has to be rated a four stars.
The plot thickens and there is a lot more drama than usual. There is not one but two "oh no they are dead SIKE they are not" szenarios in the story. And both coming from to men who eventaully confess their love to each other FINALLY.
All in all I'm now interested how the story ends (After god know how many years I waited for). The book definitly took a different direction than I though it would.
I'm suprised that I know sort of enjoyed Jonas POV but maybe the disintrested is overshadowed by Amaras POVS that are just so exhausting to read.

I wholeheartedly believe Falling Kingdoms have been consistent for the past four books. It gradually gets better. The stakes and the plot are raising within each installment. However, what the predecessors have developed, Crystal Storms debauched it.
This book is just a mess. Not even the Magneo can salvage it. My only hope is the final book would rectify that.
