If it is even possible, I liked this one even more than the Hurricane!
Kieran Doherty stole my heart, but above anything else, I loved the interactions between the guys. It was hilarious and endearing.
Plus, it's always great to get a side-dish of your other favorite couple, Em and Con. On top of that, Liam and Albie's story tied a bow on top of this amazing book.
Now I can't want to read Tommy's instalment.
If I find a spare moment, I'll probably write a longer review :)

Loved the story but the writing could have been a little bit better.

This was an enjoyable story that drew me in from the prologue. Had very little in the way of angst, was easy to read and full of likable characters. Who really felt like a family and at times made me laugh. As for the two main characters Kieran and Marie I really liked them both and loved the relationship that developed between them.
However I did find the story a little disjointed, especially during the second half of the book and the whole stalker aspect just didn't really work for me. There were also a few inconsistencies in the story, including a character being called by the wrong name, and at one point Marie and Alistair were sharing a pot of tea. Yet in the next sentence Alistair was stirring a cup of coffee. Which although never bothered me, did confuse me a little and I had to go back and reread the sentences again. To make sure I had read it right. But overall it was a good story and those inconsistencies were minor and they really didn't stop me from enjoying it and I would happily recommend The Storm to others. Especially if you have read and enjoyed The Hurricane/The Aftermath.

This is Book 3 from R J Prescott, I would recommend you read Book 1 and 2 (Connor and Em)before reading this as although this book is a separate story, Kieran and Marie, their first meeting happens in book 1 and these books are about a group of friends who are like family to each other so we are introduced to them in book 1 and their relationships grow as the series progresses.
I was nervous about reading this book because Con and Em's story was amazing and how do you follow that? This book is different to their story although there are strong similarities. Kier is not a hot head like Con but he is just as protective and loyal, oh yes and possessive.
In book 1 he has a bit of a reputation with women and I was worried that would continue in the first part of this story but there is no mention of any other girl for him, Marie is IT for him.
Marie is not too keen and her reasons are reasonable and she shows her own strength of character.
The prologue had me in tears but when I started chapter 1 I was laughing because we are back with the boys and Tommy is so hilarious.
The story was really touching, the camaraderie they have in this group is amazing. We see lots of Tommy, Liam, Con and Em and of course Danny.
We learn a more about Kier's family situation and also more about Tommy and his friendship with Kier.
The teasing and conversations are hilarious and there are some really sweet moments too.
When I got to 70%, there was a bit of a curve ball, I thought I knew what was going to happen but things didn't play out the way I thought they would.
Con and Em will always be my golden couple but Kier's book has given it a good run for its money.

I was very nervous about reading this book as I was scared that I wouldn't love it as much as the others I mean how can you improve on perfection but that's what Prescott did. I don't know why I had to go and spoil myself by reading this book as the last time I read something by R.J. Prescott it was ages before I was able to get into anything else as it was just too good and I have a feeling that I won't be able to get into anything after this one. As soon as I started this book I knew I was onto a winner as I was consumed by it from the very beginning to the very end. In the first chapter I had already laughed out loud and nearly broke down but then towards the end I was in pieces, I haven't cried like that from a book in a long while. Whilst reading this book I felt like I was at home as the relationship between every character and not just the two main characters was beautiful to see I could feel through the pages the love for one another. The chemistry between Marie and Kieran was off the charts they where so good together and seemed to bring the best out in each other. What's great about this book is that it doesn't repeat the same outline as other contemporary romance novels which I think is rather refreshing as I never saw anything coming. I loved the end as everything felt wrapped up neatly as well as left it open for Tommy's book which I'm very excited about.
What I think this book does over any other book that I've read is that Prescott has been able to make the characters come alive and it felt like I could see them all right in front of me. I pretty much loved every character apart from one and even that person had me feeling sorry for him when we find out a bit more with his background. Marie was a great character as she was such a strong person especially going through what she did throughout her whole life. As for Kieran I had loved him from the previous books and I don't know how it happened but I loved him all the more as not only was he a fierce guy but he was also very funny and he showed a softer and vulnerable side to him. I loved getting to see how Con and Em where doing and then there was Tommy he was hilarious and I am so excited to read his next book especially after what had happened to him towards the end of this book. There was some great new additions to the story including Marie's family.
Overall, I could go on and on about how much I love this book. There was not one part of this book that I was engrossed in, it was just amazing and I know that R.J. Prescott is one of my all time favourite authors as she is always able to knock it out of the park and I for one can't wait to read more from her and not just from this series but anything that she creates I just know I will love it.

I love the way Prescott writes her heroes-totally devoted and in love. This was a great story and I enjoyed it-not as much as Con and Em's story, but it was still a great read!
