Dare I say this was my favourite book in this series? Phew! The emotional rollercoaster!

Reminded me too much of the first in the series. I understand it's a serious issue to base a book around, but the whole book is just SO HEAVY and when she tries to make it light it just doesn't connect.

This book cost me $145.00 speeding ticket! I was so caught up in an emotional and funny and heartbreaking and beautiful story. It’s not worth $145 but definitely a great read.

Thank you Netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Another great novel by Roni Loren. This author has uncanny ability to write emotionally charged characters with incredible chemistry and depth. This time around she writes a story about a women on a mission to put policies in place at schools to prevent mass shootings. Her sister was killed when she was in high school by a classmate. Our heroine meets Luke at a bar and they built a lovely romance that grows with mutual attraction and trust. It does become a bit complicated once he finds out who she is and what it would mean to his carefully crafted life. But love wins in the end and they learn to heal and put the past behind them. Great story.

I'm not going to talk about the details of the book. I doesn't come out til January, but when it does, read it.
I've never been one that was able to stop reading a book and not go back to it. I would feel bad about not finishing it. For the past year I've been doing it though. Because when I read a quality book, one that I learn from, that wrings emotion from me, that makes me think, its worth it
Why read a book I find boring, one I skim through, when I could be reading great books like THIS!
My heart is full and that is because Roni Lauren writes solid, real character's. She makes me pause in my reading. I have to let this story settle.

Somewhere between a 3 and 4 - I actually think it was my favorite in this series so far, but I wasn’t a big fan of the surprise pregnancy at the end.

Out of all the books in this series, this one was one of the most intriguing premises but with a big dose of "how will this come together?". Throughout most of the book, I seriously wondered how a happily ever after could happen, but knew it would because of romance rules. While I do think it came together pretty well in the end, this book wasn't my favorite in the series.
Taryn and Shaw are both likable characters separately but I just didn't connect with them immediately. They both have huge obstacles to overcome. Taryn is consumed with work and needs to figure out how to have balance in her life. Shaw is hiding from life because he feels so unworthy of love. They both have to be brave enough to go public with their relationship and for Shaw, his actual identity. Both characters do grow a ton in the book but their insta love is where it fell a little short for me. I was good with them at the end but the beginning was slow for me.
Overall this was a fine addition to the series and it definitely brings the angst! This book has the best friend time and I think that was something that was missing in book 2. I am excited to see how the series finishes up with Kincaid's story.
