Shorter and not as “meaty” as its predecessors in the Villans and Vietues series, Bound and Tied still has a lot to offer and is a fun, quick, traipse through a new corner of the world we all love.

I really enjoyed this book. I was glad to find that reading it as a physical copy was just as enjoyable as listening to the others as audiobooks. I had been worried because the audiobooks were so fun to listen to, and I thought the dynamic might be different reading it written. 

I think I wanted a little something different from Xander, maybe more gumption (can't quite put my finger on it), but I was overall quite happy with this side quest addition to the main storyline. I felt like some things related to the FMC were left a bit unexplored, but it was a pretty short book, so that's probably why.

I had been patiently waiting for Xander’s book for MONTHS and it did not disappoint.

I wouldn’t mind one or two or a hundred slice of life short stories from this world (hint hint) since we aren’t getting any more sequels or spin-offs, but I understand that all great stories must come to an end.

I was happy about that epilogue and I’m happy for Xander. Also appreciate that those purple eyes were mentioned again.

I liked the other parts of the series, but this just wasn't my vibe. Liked the kids though.
