Mmmm, no sé, no me gustó mucho.

Reading this via audio was mind-blowing, even more than the other two in the series. I loved the full cast audio and the way all the voices were portrayed, and all the emotion. Reading it via audio gave me a stronger feel for the relationships and the way they played out among each other. Of the three books, [b:Nyxia Uprising|35424766|Nyxia Uprising (The Nyxia Triad, #3)|Scott Reintgen|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1531317687l/35424766._SY75_.jpg|56800774] has the strongest exploration of all the relationships and the way they played out in the series.
Again, I'm not going to review too much here as I really do want to continue to be surprised by this series when I come back to it. Still, and probably will always be, a favorite.

There have been three series in my life that have defined my life and my reading experience. The first was Harry Potter, which I first read when I was 8-9 years old. I read the two Percy Jackson series for the first time when I was between eleven and thirteen. I read the Paladin Prophecy series around when I started high school.
[b:The Nyxia Triad|27426044|Nyxia (The Nyxia Triad, #1)|Scott Reintgen|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1485432778l/27426044._SY75_.jpg|47477446] is the fourth series that has become a part of who I am. Although I first read the first book over two years ago, the series stayed with me as one I decided I absolutely had to finish. It especially helped that [a:Scott Reintgen|14593331|Scott Reintgen|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1455963722p2/14593331.jpg] read and responded to my first review of [b:Nyxia|27426044|Nyxia (The Nyxia Triad, #1)|Scott Reintgen|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1485432778l/27426044._SY75_.jpg|47477446], back in 2018. I can tell he is an author who cares about his readers, and he created something beautiful that readers can care about back.
I found myself gasping at every plot twist and crying at every death. This isn't something that happens with every novel, but the way Reintgen builds the Genesis family is absolutely magical. I have to say that this series shoots Reintgen to the top of the list of writers who most inspire me to write my own stories, and it was only after rereading [b:Nyxia|27426044|Nyxia (The Nyxia Triad, #1)|Scott Reintgen|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1485432778l/27426044._SY75_.jpg|47477446] that I really started to get a direction for my story and characters. The whole series is magical and inspiring in a way that changed my life and my own writing, and for that I am forever grateful to [a:Scott Reintgen|14593331|Scott Reintgen|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1455963722p2/14593331.jpg].
I will definitely read Reintgen's other books as soon as I can get to them. I fell in love with this series more deeply than I have with any series in the last four or five years, and I definitely plan to read it over and over again, and see what I can discover and see in a new light. I imagine there will be many of these series, and I'm very excited for when I do. I'm definitely asking for a copy of [b:Nyxia Uprising|35424766|Nyxia Uprising (The Nyxia Triad, #3)|Scott Reintgen|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1531317687l/35424766._SY75_.jpg|56800774] for my birthday, as I received the first two for my birthday last year and this Christmas. This series means so much to me, and I can't thank [a:Scott Reintgen|14593331|Scott Reintgen|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1455963722p2/14593331.jpg] enough for writing it.

A satisfying end to the series. I liked having 2 more narrative perspectives. It got a little exhausting to constantly be in battle mode, but the emotional payoff was also high when we gained a character back and there was some salvation at the end. My holds list for this is deep, so I'll be excited to hear kid opinion of this book.

Action packed ending to this exciting trilogy. I have to admit I would have liked a little more to the ending and what happened once arriving back to Earth. It’s disappointing when endings are so open ended when you’ve invested this much time into a series.

A solid end to the series. Nothing here was too surprising, and that alone, despite the good writing and great cast of characters, made this the least exciting entry to me. The whole goal of the book was to get back to Earth, and *spoiler* after overcoming a few obstacles they did. The ending was a little overlong, but satisfying in a sense after spending 3 books with these characters

It took me a long time to finish this, through no fault of the book itself. My library hold expired, and then I kinda fell out of reading for a while, but this was a wonderful end to the series.

We pick up right where we left off with Emmett and friends fighting for their lives. The fighting and the twists and turns are non-stop. It felt a little long IMO (I was skimming at the end) but overall a satisfying end to the series.

An amazing book series from beginning to end. I wish Kaya could have seen it all! If you are a science fiction fan I highly recommend this book series!
