You know that GIF from Firefly where Nathan Fillion’s character is speechless? That is still currently how I feel about what Massery gives us with Rebel. There is SO much that happens within these pages that your mind is spinning, heart is racing and so much more. My poor heart too. As this book takes up 6 months after the happenings of the previous book. It is raw, haunting and so mind blowing. Kora is more of a fighter, made a new friend, the crew gets her back and things implode even more. There are secrets exposed that have your jaw dropping to the floor and you literally struggle picking it back up because WHAT WAS THAT!!! There are some really painful moments too that I am still recovering from and I am not sure I will! It is so heartbreaking and I know this is 100% vague reviewing but IYKYK when you get to that part! I am DYING to get my hands on Queen with how Rebel concluded. This is one of my favorite series of all time and I cannot recommend or love it enough! Buckle up and prepare for all that comes with Rebel to get ready for Queen because I know in my soul that I will not recover from it when I finally get my hands on it!

S. Massery has quickly become one of my favorite authors!!! This book was soooooo great! All the twists and turns and reveals were amazing! Can't wait to read the final book of the series to see how she wraps up things for Kora & her boys!

I CAN NOT STOP READING THIS BOOK.

I was NOT expecting the 6 months between the end of the last book and this one.. but holy fuck the shit that went down in this book.. FUCK.

Kora has finally stopped waiving between scared little girl and bad ass and has landed solidly on badass.. but she still gets nervous around the guys and shows her vulnerability and its… i really endears me to her. Shes a bad ass and is coming into her own but shes still vulnerable. I love that about her.

FINALLY Jace is owning his shit. FINALLY. And that ending? Holy fuck balls! I cried, i cheered, I GASPED. I mean common!!! Im so glad I waited til this series was finished to read it because theres no fucking way I could wait for the next book to come out in real time.

5/5 stars. For sure. BRING ON BOOK 4. Apparently im just reading literally 2 books a day of this authors because shes wonderful.

Twist and turns

Okay, for real, the twists and turns at every freaking chapter?! Holy crap this whole series has me completely hooked!

Rebel brings us badass Kora. In the two previous books she’d slowly started to come out of her weaknesses, but in this books she’s just full on. Kora is tired of the way Sterling Falls is being torn apart and has decided that enough is enough and she’s going to be the one to fix it.

The cliff hanger at the end of the last book was monumental and thankfully we get some resolution in this book. For like half a second anyways. The story that is being weaves is immaculate.

Chapter 38 broke my heart. Be prepared to gasp and cry.

Once again, we are left on a massive cliff hanger and I am immensely glad the final boom is already out and waiting for me.

Book3 in the Sterling Falls series DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT! Since I don't like to talk spoilers, I will not give a run down on where this book starts because it will give away goodies that you learn in the first two books. So I will state right now....if you haven't read Thief and Fighter, stop reading and go download those. THEN come back and hang out with me.
