I really liked this book though this is a very short book it hits all the right spots. It's a sweet story with with laughter and sexy times. A light-hearted read that I think is prefect when you are between books.

What a Bride Wants is a quick read that leaves you wanting more. Ella's Dad takes out a personal ad to find her a husband. She tries to outsmart him and places her own personal ad. Craziness follows and Ella finds the one thing she never thought she wanted. Loved it! I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I must admit that the front cover of this book first caught my eye (who doesn’t like a pretty cover?) and then the blurb drew me in. What A Bride Wants is the first book in a new series set in the fictional town of Marietta, Montana, where each new book in the series is written by a different author.
This book is about Ella Grace Emerson, local ranching heir and Cameron Sawyer, the sexy Australian bartender working at the local bar. Ella’s meddling father decides to take out a personal ad for his daughter in a newspaper in order to find her a ‘docile house husband’. In retaliation Ella puts her own ad up on the noticeboard at the local bar where Sawyer works, seeking a lover instead of a husband. Sawyer decides to answer her ad and a romance begins.
What a Bride Wants is a nice, sweet western romance. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Ella and Sawyer and the dialogue between them had me giggling out loud. My only criticism is that I felt the story was a little too rushed. Everything happened so fast in the story that I wasn’t given enough time to really enjoy Ella and Sawyer falling in love and battling the odds. While this book is a novella, it could have easily been another 100 pages longer to really develop the characters and delve a bit deeper with the plot.
Overall, What a Bride Wants was a great fun and fast read. This is the first Kelly Hunter book I’ve read and she has now become an author I will look out for in the future.

What A Bride Wants is the first book in a new series Montana Born Brides and I really enjoyed it and I thought it was a great start to the series.
Most of the time the hero is my main focus in a book but in this case I really liked the heroine Ella, especially the fact that she was bold and was willing to stand up to her dad and she wasn't afraid of gossip and what people will say.
I also really liked the hero Cam Sawyer and I thought he was sexy, mysterious and funny.
The chemistry between Ella and Sawyer was off the chart and what started as a fling became much more very fast.
I just wish the book was a bit longer so we could read more about Ella and Sawyer but since this is #1 in the series I'm sure will get to read more about them and the rest of the town.
I'm really looking forward to read more books in this new series.

What a Bride Wants was a sensational story! It was funny just as much as it was sweet. Although it was short in length, it was thorough in its content. Elle and Sawyer were an enchanting couple. They had that special "spark" and it worked. I loved how their story came together. It was priceless. And I must say, the funniest scenes had to be when Elle found out about the ad that her dad placed and the calf scene. Hahaha... I am still laughing.
I am intrigued by this series. I would totally read more from this author.

I've been reading books set in Marietta, Montana a lot lately, and besides the town, they have one more thing in common. I am absolutely loving them. Like the rest of the books in the Great Wedding Giveaway series, this book was funny and a quick read. Ella was a strong character who would have run off the wrong man with her strong personality. Cameron Sawyer (Sawyer to most of Marietta), is strong enough to handle her. Ella and Sawyer meet because Ella's dad pissed her off and caused her to do something rash. Neither one was really looking for anything serious, but Sawyer was the one who had strong reasons not to fall for anyone. Eventually his reasons are revealed and Ella proves that she is strong enough to stand by him. The writing was strong and once I started reading, I didn't want to put this book down. One of these days maybe I'll read the books in order instead of jumping all over the place, but going out of order doesn't take away from any of the stories. It gets a strong 4 1/2 star rating from me and goes into the read again pile.
