Love Zak
I knew I was going to love Zak and Harper together when we met them in Joel’s book. These two were literally perfect together. I will admit it made cry at what happened to Harper. Just glad they got their happy ending. LOL that’ll have a whole meaning at the end too.

Check TW before reading this book! I would also recommend reading book 1 prior to this as well.
Harper and Zak, I have been waiting for this book! We get to see a lot more of them, and I am here for it. Overall, it was a great read that will be a reread in the near future.

First off- check your TW. This book contains dark elements that may be disturbing for readers.
Now that that’s been said - oh my GOD.
Like, I knew what was coming, but I didn’t know what was coming.
This book was great! I love Harper & Zaks chemistry.
There was a lot of action and suspense which had me holding my breath at some points. I do wish we would have seen more towards the end, but I definitely got the HEA I was craving.
Great job again, AD! Zak has officially taken the position of my fav Sweetwater boy

After reading book 1 I was very excited for Zack and Harpers story. They undeniably had great chemistry as side characters and I knew this book would knock it out of the park. Their constant bickering and back and forth arguing made this a true enemies to lovers story with a lot of action in between. The only thing I wish is that we had more time with them! I really loved that Wilde took into consideration the mental health of these characters with the events that take place in this story and shines a light on the fact that it’s ok to need other people and to seek professional help when needed. I highly recommend this book and series but make sure to check the trigger warnings before reading this book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I absolutely loved this book. Reading the first book in the series allows you to get to know the characters and the others in this book. My goodness, the chemistry between Zak and Harper was off the charts. Like I was able to feel the tension between the two. It makes me happy to see Harper come out on top with everything that happened to her.

ONE MiLLiON STARS!!
I couldn’t put this down. Zak is a man after my heart. He’s all tough outside but such a softie inside. I love the small things he does for Harper, even though she doesn’t notice it. He’s not after the credit. He just does it because that’s who he is. I can’t wait for Liam’s story.

I was eagerly anticipating this book's release, having followed the author since before the release of the first in the series. And it certainly did not disappoint!
From the first time we meet Harper and Zak (in Written in Stone) the tension and banter between them was first rate; I have very much enjoyed seeing them slowly grow together. AD Wilde excelled at showing the teasing and provoking nature of their relationship, from reluctant acquaintances to a safe haven for each other. I particularly enjoyed the plot twist - despite thinking that I knew what was coming from the red flags dotted about the first half of the book, I was still taken by surprise when it did happen.
It was also nice being able to see the developing relationship between Joel and Stella from the first book. It's one of my favorite things about interconnected series where we get to touch base with all the characters across the span of time.
The story does touch on some dark themes; there is on page violence as well as other potential triggers, so please ensure to read the copious warnings if needed.
I'm now eagerly awaiting the final book in the trilogy; given the excellent character building and development of story in the first two, I can only imagine what we await when Liam's story is finally uncovered.
