Wow I loved this one. Just such beautiful family relationships. The ups and downs of sisterhood. More about the characters than the plot but of course there are twists and turns too. Makes you ache for family in a good way! I really loved the writing. The book just felt like a hug. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

I don’t think I have ever been as deeply emotionally moved by any other book as I was by this one.  I could not put it down even when it had me crying so hard I couldn’t see straight. The shifting POV was sometimes momentarily confusing, but as you get deeper in the book and start to know the characters in all their complexity, it gets easier to follow. And the emotional impact of seeing these life events and relationships through the eyes of each of the people involved in turn was just spectacular.

OH MY GOODNESS. A phenomenal read! 👏🏼

It was VERY long and sometimes I had to put the book down because at points, it wasn’t as engaging as usual. But the complexity and humanness of the characters kept me coming back. I felt love for each and every one of them 🥹

So many intense moments in the book too. I was HOOKED especially when there were big revelations! 😳

I audibly went ‘NO’ when Wendy realised whose son Jonah was 😳 Aaron, the first ever kind boyfriend that she had, had had sex with Violet?! Absolute madness!

I had a big soft spot for David especially.
4.5 out of 5 stars for me, thank you ✨ Content warnings below!

Ended up loving it. A very long book and jumps from character to character and time to time. But once you get to know all the characters, it all comes together.  The exact epic emotional story I love.
