Needed the audiobook to get through this cause just couldn't motivate my eyeballs for some reason. Don't often vibe with the tropes in this but they worked mostly. Clearly, my tastes in romance are slowly maturing - there's hope for me yet.

This was really well done. Lots of emotions, growth of characters, hot scenes. Was a little too drawn out in places. And not having read the previous stories, I was lost with all the side characters, but overall a good read.

The way you've written this story is way beyond beautiful! I might have cried a bit and laughed a lot! Diego Garza owns my heart from now on, he's beautiful and damaged, and the way he put out his heart and beliefs for June is amazing! I really loved his progress throughout the book!
I loved this story so much that I'm gonna buy the rest of the series soon!
Thank you for writing this gem!

Julia Wolf had no business making me fall for DiegoJune the way I did. I ate this book up so quick! This was probably one of my favorite recs to date.
Okay so I know a lot of people felt Diego had to grow on them, but for me personally I understood his pov and loved him from the very beginning. Was he an ass? Yes. But did he have a reason? Yes. (Plus, Milo made it easy to give Diego a bit of leeway.) As for June, how could not love her? She was so relatable and her growth as a woman was one of my absolute favorite parts of this book. The growth in both mc's was great honestly! This wasn't just cute/sexy read about a nanny and a (somewhat) retired rockstar, but a story about two hurt people who grow and together and as individuals.
As for the sex scenes. CHEFS KISS JULIA! I was absolutely in love with the praise kink from the first encounter. All the "good girls" had me blushing and kicking my feet. (Diego Garza is the man of praise!) I'd also love to add in how June not only shocked, but impressed me when it came to how secure she was in her sexuality. There's nothing I hate more than an inexperienced fmc, but thankfully June was experienced and very sure of herself. The sexual chemistry was through the roof!
My only deduction was the little time spent on the children issue. I feel like the book could've been a bit longer and the disagreement could've been brought up sooner allowing more of conversation to be had. Although I ultimately loved the way it ended up being handled, I feel like it could've had more build up on Diego's end of things. I think he deserved more time to process things and deal with his trauma that was literally only a little over a year old..
Overall, I LOVED the book and Julia Wolf gained a new fan! Now I'm going to make it my business to get through the rest of her books.

Diego and June are just what I've been waiting for! I have been looking forward to both of these characters since first getting a glimpse of Diego in Unrequited and June in Falling In Reverse, and they are everything I hoped they would be.
"This is where waves break."
I could not put this book down. The way broody and broken Diego cares for June while also being possessive. Watching June be so shy yet come into her own. And June's love for Diego's son, Camilo is just everything.
I want to live and breathe in The Seasons Change family, but also in Diego's family and with the Adler sisters. The way they all back each other up, yet call each other out when it's necessary is priceless.
