Like your romance with fangs, fighting, and fun? Then Kerrelyn Sparks’ Love at Stake series is your next must-read, and there is no better place to start than with book #1: How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire. It’s got hot vampires, a pretty female dentist on the run, a sweet and steamy romance, as well as some heart-pounding action. Don’t miss it!

Got bored at the end. Didn't feel that connected to the characters.

Over doing it on the fatphobia and fay shaming thin character. Unrealistic dialog. Mary Sue and whatever the male equivalent is. Which normally wouldn't bother me but half way through it starts to become a "hey don't forget that they are the MAIN CHARACTERS and hey there's a problem but you didn't know they could do this thing. But they were also set up early on for knowing how to take care of future problems. It just got cringe and then boring. Was going okay okay hurry up and finish already they're gonna save the day AGAIN let's get this over with but then more problems happen and the book only gets 3x speed. I can't go any faster than that and it's not worth it any more

I loved the first half of this book, but when it became a religion heavy soap opera, I was out.

The plot is quite simple, but with funny twists. Especially the initial part, VANNA made me laugh so much :o)
The love story is ok, it's the typical beginning of a series like that, introducing a set of side characters as well, who will be the main characters in the following books.
If you want to read somthing that requires not a lot of concentrationa nd makes you smile, go for it

Horrible!
A vampire loses a tooth in a rubber sex doll that pumps out blood, falls in love with a dentist in the witness protection program hunted by the vampire's biggest rival, and that doesn't even scratch the surface of the ridiculous aspects.
Vampires in this book have brain sex. That's all I'm going to say about that.
There is mention of stripping the genetic code of semen and replacing it with someone else's genetic code. Hmm???
The phrase "God's blood" is repeated over and over again.
A dentist who passes out at the sight of blood? How does she work??
Teleportation, mind-control, and about 6,000,000 perfect coincidences all add up to equal one terrible novel.
I listened to the audio format of this one, and even the narrator couldn't believe what she was saying. She put no inflection in any of the lines and pulled another ridiculous accent out of her back pocket with each new chapter.
