I was really annoyed while reading this, and it didn't work for me at all. I dislike the characters so much, I really do. Evie seems entitled and fake. Adam was hurt, and now his self-esteem and confidence are non-existent, and he kept going back and forth, and I got really annoyed. Side characters are selfish, Georgie knew how he would react and didn't tell him anything?? Zack too?? And they're supposed to be best friends? The town.. i kept imagining it as a ghost town because there were no people anywhere and even if it's a small town, people still go out for walks and all that. So this was more of a writing issue for me. Skimmed the last part because even though it's not a long book it really felt too long. The book could've been so much better if it had been written as a slow burn. But like real slow burn, where they dislike each other and bicker blah blah blah then they work together and become kind of friends AND THEN weeks later they get some kind of feelings.

There were a few things I'm not comfortable with such as someone doing the middle finger gesture, uses of the word ass, and the MMC nonchalantly walking around shirtless. Other than that, I found it boring. I would rather be reading other books.
