I have never had any desire to be a pilot but after reading this…I have a burning desire to google everything about it.

This book was engaging from the get go which is good bc it broke my nearly year long reading slump 😬. I am so interested in the storylines, even if the main character is annoying (not a bad thing, she has personality if nothing else). I will be reading the sequel immediately.

There is an uneasiness to the cadence of this book. If that was intentional or not, I am unsure. The pacing of this book felt a bit off to me. The actual plot only really happened in the second half of the book.

This book was unlike one that I’ve ever read before. I don’t know that I’ve ever read a book where the main character unabashedly acknowledges their beauty as opposed to downplaying it. I didn’t like the main character but she definitely felt real and dimensional.

It reminds me of that quote “This is girlhood and they will kill you with it” but if you added fae to it.

Overall I found this book to very honest and a good read, but I did find it a kind of predictable

Interesting concept but needed to be edited better. Fr could have cut at least 200 pages

As a book I found the middle of the story a little slow. They weren’t doing much of anything but traveling for a lot of the time. But this would make SUCH a good movie
