The main plot sounds exactly like your 90s rom com with a modern twist and spicy spice

And yes it was all that

HOWEVER I do not understand why this book needed 500 pages. Honestly I skiped a couple chapters and the plot moved 0.5% or nothing at all.

Am I gonna end up reading the second one and being annoyed at being so long? Yes
