This was a fun and quick but very dirty read. I loved the dynamics between the characters. The fight from Charlotte and the quick possessiveness of Derek and Wyatt are why I loved this holiday novella.
I would love to see a full book come from these authors with these characters. I want know more about when they leave the mountain and return to the city.

I really enjoyed going into spooky season reading this book. I’m grateful to the author for trusting me with an ARC. At first you’re not aware the Henry is a centuries old vampire. This seems like it’s a mafia style book as Ivy is forced to finally meet her soon to be husband. It’s not until the wedding does she suspect things aren’t what they seem.
Once they’re stuck together it becomes a battle of wills between the betrothed. Both are stubborn and determined to get their way. After several intense confrontations, they start to open up and attempt to concede to each other a little bit after each confrontation. Ivy learns she hasn’t much choice when it comes to Henry and his very wicked and delicious ways to get her to succumb to his desires. Henry learns that even though Ivy is his destined mate, he still has to some growing up to do before she will fully accept him and be his willing pet.
Will they get their HEA before outside forces tear them apart?
The spice was good! 🥵🥵🥵 The storyline kept me engaged and I would love a book about Matt & Ryan. Also, I want to read more about Damon.

I was fortunate to read the prequel and this as an ARC reader. I love Melissa’s writing and the ability to bring lovable characters to life. Ryan’s filthy mouth and gut wrenching honesty is the perfect combination with his possessiveness to give readers another dreamy book boyfriend. The tension leading up to the spice was a beautiful blend to lead the reader a wonderful HEA.

@alina_may_author has done me in yet again with her twisted and delicious darkness. The emotional pull of Rachel, the hell and chaos of Riley and the obsession Manson has is so perfectly woven together in this story. If you enjoy a dark romance with morally black characters who are the villains you love then Alina’s books are for you. The stalking, the possessiveness, the spice has me wanting to go play a very tantalizing game of hide and seek with a masked man in a corn maze. The perfect ending to the trilogy! I loved the suspense and how it all came together in the end. I want more of Daisy and the Beasts, Willa and her Kings and I can’t wait to read about Rafe and the Bastards of Blackwell. Sadie has done a phenomenal job world building in the town of Blackwell Falls. I admire her development of strong characters that are well rounded, strong, mysterious, and delicious to envision. The series is a solid 5 and I give the spice a solid 4.5 to 4.75.

For a debut novel this book was amazing!!! I give the book an overall 5. The writing was well paced and the storyline was engaging. I’d give a solid 4.5 on the spice level. If I was forced into an arranged marriage to a mafia don, I would choose Matteo in a heartbeat. The man has a mouth on him and he certainly knows how to use it. 🥵 Lux is one lucky lady to have Matteo by her side. If you like mafia romance with an arranged marriage to lovers trope then this book is for you. @tpriceton I can’t wait to read what you publish next. This was the perfect ending to this duet. Jayden and Cole certainly have their flaws however they help Jo discover more about herself that she didn’t want to face.
If you are not a fan of dark romance then this is not a duet for you. This book was an emotional rollcoaster ride for the characters and the readers happen to be along for that ride. These men are not heros or Disney princes. They may love Jo and are willing to break all the rules to have her in their lives but the rules they break make them look like villains.

A huge thank you to @melissa_ivers_author and @queenoffirelas for allowing me to read this ARC. I’m extremely grateful. 🥅⭐️🏒⭐️🏒⭐️🏒⭐️🏒⭐️🥅. I’ve read my fair share of Why Choose and Hockey romances and this book did not disappoint one bit. The spice and tension were well balanced. The witty quips and banter are top notch. It was hard for me not to highlight half the damn book with all my favorite quotes. The following pic are of my top three from the book. Charlie is a lucky girl to have a brother like Harrison to lookout for her. She’s even luckier that he has such good friends who look out for her every need 👀🥵. This is a wonderful take on MFMM dynamic and I adored the development of Mateo’s relationship of not only with Charlie but another character in the book who shall not be named for fear of spoilers. This book releases in three days and I high recommend picking up a copy if you love Why Choose and Hockey romance.
