Did not finish book. Stopped at 23%.

I struggle with child narrators. The perspective and writing is so plainspoken in a way that's just sort of boring and isn't grabbing my attention. If I didn't have so many other books on my shelf to get to, I'd stick with this -- but I'm setting it aside.
