I just wanted to love this book so much. But I really struggled through it. The heaviness of Christian influence was too much for me. There were pieces that I really loved. And at times I was yearning for more on topics hooks skimmed over. But it really felt dated and very very heteronormative nd transphobic; two things I couldn’t get past. Especially given the topic is love and relationships.
