I've watched the donghua, live action, read the books and now I'm reading the manhua and it's safe to say that this series is one of my favourites. Everything I've said about this series in my previous reviews of the books still stand and apply to the manhua but with the added bonus of seeing all favs drawn in a beautiful art style with cute chibi moments. I'm going to love this version just as much as the other renditions of this work.

I'm sad that it has come to an end but I had such a wonderful time with the characters and the story that it doesn't hurt as much to finish it. One thing that really let this volume down was the amnesia segment, it did not need to be around 22 pages or so for it to be about Ida being scared of losing something precious aka Aoki. It could of been shortened down so much more and those leftover pages could of been used for the epilogue/bonus story which was only 2 pages. Other than that the story, the characters and everyone's relationships with one another was beautiful and heart-warming to see; the ups and downs of life and moving forward into the next chapter of your life. I like to think that Ida may of been autistic as well as him being demisexual & demiromantic but that's just my headcanon. My cuties Hashimoto & Aida, I wish I could of seen more of them together near the end, another bonus chapter just specifically of them would of been perfect but alas I just have to create my own extra content in my mind. The art work was phenomenal, Aruko-sensei's faces were amazing at broadcasting the characters emotions, it really brought the scenes to life and Hinekure-sensei's storytelling was also amazing and I'm excited for more of their future works.

I love that Ida is taking the initiative to be more affectionate with Aoki as well as still resolving any issues that have relatively quickly. The scenes of Aoki at Ida's house were my favourite, so many cute and funny moments and I love all the Mametaro moments. I'm sad that Hashimoto & Aida will be long distance but I'm sure they'll work it out and become a stronger couple because of it. I also feel like Aoki & Ida's mums might have an inkling to what's going on but we'll see.

I'm loving the progression of everyone's relationships, I love that Ida is becoming more aware of his feelings for Aoki. When Aoki & Ida were staying at the hotel you could really feel the tension as well as the nervousness of them both. Did I wish that they would share another kiss again? Yes but they're taking it slow and it's a first relationship for them both especially a same sex one, so totally understandable that they would be a bit more cautious and slow moving. I'm glad Hashimoto & Aida finally got to kiss🥰 I'm curious how it will go for Aoki & Ida when they tell their families they're dating.
