Please allow up to 7-10 business days for me to collect my thoughts on this one, for they are drowning somewhere between the Abyssal and Hadal zone

I'm such a homo for my homie Kissen. No notes, what a banger.

I can count three moments. I felt anything whilst reading this entire book. The characters were flat, underdeveloped, and, at times, borderline insufferable. Pacing? Never heard of her. Whilst one character may have kept returning, I unfortunately will not be spending More Days at the Morisaki Bookshop.

"Will you trust me?" - a mildly attractive man, probably
"Say less, yes I will!" - Signa, most likely

There were moments of beautiful description at the start of this novel that really lulled me in. From there, the Romance got weird, the pacing was off, the revelations were obvious, and the twists were too slow coming.

2.75 rounded up.

It's hard to formulate words about how this book made me feel and what I think of it. But here I go.

There wasn't really a discernable plot, rather, whimsical vignettes of what it is to own/be a cat. There were endearing moments, and having read that the writer is originally a poet, the style of writing makes more sense to me. It just unfortunately did not then work to me as a novel, but I can see how it might for others.
