"You are every breath of fresh air I've ever taken. Every starry sky I ever thought was beautiful. Every sunset that streaks all the colors across the sky. You are...everything."

This is my first time reading this author and I was pleasantly surprised.  Shasta is a powerful witch who ends up on some life-altering adventures. I love Shasta and how strong she is. I enjoyed the plot and how entertaining it is. Although it was fast-paced it was enjoyable but a lot of stuff in one book. I can't wait for more in this world, especially with Jessa and the vampires.

“I don’t want to ever hear you talk badly about yourself again, Emmeline Anders. You’re perfect for us. You’re strong and resilient, surviving in the human world for years without a pack or support. Despite all of that, you came back to us whole and in control of your beast. Very few could have done what you have, and I’m proud to have you as a mate.”

I loved this book. Emme is on the run from her possible future. When she is caught, nothing is how she thinks it is.
Emme is a strong independent person, which I like, but she needs to let some people in. I am glad she finds her scent matches even if she refuses them. I like Hunter and Kellen although Kellen can be too much sometimes. Slade has the potential to be my favorite. Finley, I kinda understand why he is acting like this but to be a total a-hole to someone he hasn't even talked to is a little much. Of course, this ends on a cliffhanger. I knew it was coming but I didn't think it would be those people that do it. I need book 2.

“You may be my husband, but you will never own my mind. It is mine alone, and no amount of years here beneath your overbearing and belittling rules as king will change that.”

Sia is forced to marry Theo and gets way more than she bargained for.
This story has a beauty and the beast vibe. I enjoyed the witty back-and-forth between Sia and Theo. They have some adventures they're on to save each other's kingdoms. I do like that this book doesn't end on a cliffhanger. I do enjoy this world the author made and can't wait to read the other books that are a part of it

Daisy enters a metal sculpting competition where she meets Thor and it changes her life.
This was a quick read that will keep you entertained. The only downfall of the book in my opinion is the author gives you all this build-up between Daisy and Thor but when they do get together it is short and sweet which is a letdown. Overall a good read.

" If I had my way I'd be spending every second of every damn day buried inside of you because that's the only place I've ever felt at home."

I enjoyed this story of forbidden love by Bea Paige. Harlow and Sterling start as a one-stand that turns into step-siblings wanting each other. I like the characters, especially Sterling. I learned about his condition and didn't realize that something like that existed.  I disliked Robert and Melody from the beginning. I like how the book connects with the other books in the series and how I didn't read the other books but wasn't confused or needed to read the others.  The only thing that I didn't like was how when the fact that they are stepsiblings was brought up, it was like other stories I've read about stepsiblings and how they can't be together because it is wrong or their parents will be mad. Overall an awesome read with an unexpected ending.
