Maybe I didn't like this book because I had to read it for school.
Or maybe because I felt like the story could have been told in about 1/8th as much time.
Or maybe because I am a Scurry and hearing a story mostly about Hems and Haws drives me nuts.
Either way - I didn't like it. If you had to read this for school, just read "Parts of All of Us" and the "cheese writings on the wall". You'll get the point, I'm sure.

Change can seem intimidating, difficult - even scary! This book offers a healthier perspective on change and the insights taught can be applied to both one's personal and professional lives.

It offers a good look at the inevitable of change within life--in your career and personal--and the significance of learning to adapt. However, it's superficial and only perhaps applicable to business decisions. It does not go into the ethics of change--what becomes worth fighting against, especially in this modern world where politicians are pushing for an anti-progressive agenda? There's a healthy way to receive and adapt to change, but just because change happens does not mean you should be passively changing to fit to the status quo, which is what the narrative seems to imply.

Simple read, yet a good reminder of how to deal with change.

A nifty little quick read on the subject of coping with change. This is told in a sort of parable format where we follow the lives of two mice and two little people who live in a maze and one day they find their cheese has been moved and how they cope with that change. Mostly basic common sense which everyone knows but not enough people do and no new life altering thinking but you can rip through this in under an hour and come out the other side feeling more motivated and braver.
