I'm personally not really a fan of Morgan rice but to be honest I can't stop reading the series. Her story lines are bad. Her writings even worst. It's full of contradictions and her continuous use of the same phrases drives me insane but with that being said its good quality work for the short book that your given. All of her books in this series are side books. There time fillers for when I have nothing to do. The books are not to bad. It does captivate you but that's only If your able to get past all the problems.

A list that contains spoilers, as I do with all these books:
~ This is a somehow lamer version of the previous book, just in a different location
~ Napolean Bonapart is a vampire. He is also friends with Kyle, the psychotic and extremely unstable villain
~ The moral of the story is that we don't have any free agency and everything is ultimately defined by fate. This doesn't really play out in the narrative, but this is the idea Caitlin is trying to push for some reason
~ The writing is just

This female is really starting to grate my cheese! She is soooo hung up on men! She's too busy doing things to make men happy and not worrying about herself. Always fearful that her boyfriend is going to leave her, or that she's going to disappoint her mentor, or her father won't love her if she gives up this mission. She's worried her lil bro hates her & that this other guy doesn't remember her. Get a life hefa! You need to figure out who you want to be. Who you are and spend less time worrying about these men! If they truely love you they still will, no matter what! Now get back onto your mission and enjoy the ride you time traveling warrior vamp!!!

Written slightly better than 4 but still with timeline discrepancies. I also don't understand how Polly and Sam didn't know who Sergi was right away. I mean, Polly I can kind of see since she only remembers her future from dreams. Sam should've known right away though. Anyway, the writing is still middle school, at best. A few sentences that stuck with me were: "He realized he was going to need more backup than he needed", "she walked into the darkness. It was dark", and "she realized he was going to be just fine, when she saw that look on his face, she knew he was going to be alright". I just have a hard time even seeing how an editor touched this. Still hanging in there for the rest of the story though.
