I really enjoy this author's work. Be it her MMF standalones, her MC series or this, her really surprising romance suspense, which took me on one hell of a wild ride.
Are you looking for twists, turns, and DROOL WORTHY STEAM with a heaping helping of angst? Then you should pick this up and hold on to your wigs, because M. Never be snatching. Again. The audio adds an extra layer to the angst and the steam. The Irish accent? Top tier.
I received an advance copy of this from the author and I volunteered to leave an unbiased review. All opinions are my own. I received an audio copy and volunteered to leave an unbiased review.

I enjoyed so much about this listen. I don't even know where to start.
First, this is soooo much more than a romance. It's a thriller, it's suspense, intrigue, assassins and also love.
The performances in this, were spectacular. Muffy Newtown as Fallon, a deadly woman, who knows how to kill, who has a lot of secrets, who plays the game to win.
Jacob Morgan, well he turned his sweet voice into something so enticing with that Irish accent. He plays a few other parts within the novel, but Declan, oh Declan with the Irish accent. WOW. Again, also an assassin, but also, very much a lover.
Aaron Shedlock as March - the man behind the earpiece for Fallon - her support in about every way. You'll fall in love with him too.
I don't want to give too many plot points, because the best thing about this kind of book is NOT knowing what may come next. Just immerse yourself into the story, the words, the delicious voices and let go and live it.
I highly recommend the audio of this book M Never kept me on the edge of my seat. Loved every minute of it.

The narration in this book was perfection. All three narrators were so good. Especially Aaron Shedlock. He literally stole every scene he was in.
The book over all was just okay. It had a lot of really good potential. A very original story line, strong female lead, amazingly snarky side kick, etc. But I found the execution a little lacking. I really didn't like any of the characters. Fallon kept talking about not mixing business with pleasure, but literally opens her legs at the drop of a hat. Declan is perfectly fine with leaving his daughter for hours at a time with the person hired to kill him, just so he can go get drunk. I found myself with no one to root for. Even the emotional storylines failed to stir up any real feelings for me. I will say that the steamy scenes were very hot and heavy, but I think I just wanted something deeper from this book. It wasn't a bad book. Just not my favorite.

Holy Smokes what a story!
I loved everything about this book and enjoyed every minute of reading it.
Fallon is one of the most badass ladies I’ve come across.
That girl is fierce, strong and complex.
Slowly the author peels back her layers to show not only a woman not to be messed with.
But a raw vulnerable lady that is haunted and has made it her mission to have no ties and emotions.
Declan omg I loved him and his sexy accent.
I thought he was a great balance of alpha and softness.
He was tough when times called for it.
And tender when need be.
He was the perfect combination.
What I really appreciated that Ms. Never delivered with perfection was the emotional roles of Fallon and Declan.
Both are assassins and both are hardcore.
But their insecurities and vulnerabilities came shining through at moments when they were at their breaking points.
I loved how they grew and developed.
And how they changed internally with what life threw at them.
Their roles just kept evolving.
The chemistry between Ronan,Fallon and Declan was sizzling.
The tension and the sexual component between them was a real thing that I could feel coming off the pages.
But the dynamics with Fallon and Declan was absolutely explosive!
Their arguments and well as their sexual attraction are both combustible.
There is no hot and cold between them.
It’s all full steam ahead and boiling hot.
The plot is freaking amazing!
I was going through so many different emotions while reading this book.
The author had me on a rollercoaster ride of feelings.
The combination of dark and light were perfect.
The anguish had my heart shattering.
But the peace that was found out it back together again.
Omg and the twists and turns left me breathless!
Just everything in this book brilliant!

I have been a fan of this author for a long time and have been eagerly waiting for this book since I heard a snippet of the audio for this book. I would have read it anyway at some point because I not only love this author but because the blurb had me sucked in. However, hearing that amazing accent in the audio snippet, moved this book to the top of my must-read books. I can gladly say that the book led up to its hype and that sexy voice.
From the first chapter, it was riveting. I needed to know who this person was and why she was the person that would be on these types of assignments. As the story progresses, I get the answers as to who Fallon is, and most importantly, why she became that person. It heart to hear her backstory. I was unsure about Declan and also Ronan. Eventually, I got my answers and trust me when I say I was right to be unsure about one of those characters. Watching the interactions between Fallon, Declan and Ronan had me bouncing around a bit as I tried to see how these paths intercepted. There were games being played here and I didn't know how or why. The steamy times were hot with a certain person. The other just made me uncomfortable.
The suspense was killer in this one and the twists, one of them in particular, came from left field. I wasn't prepared for that one. It made me love the fighting spirit of Fallon that much more. There were some areas that I wish would have been explained a little more such as the motivations behind why one of these men did what they did and what they had hoped they would gain from it. Regardless of those though, I was all in for the ride and for watching a love story grow from this as well as the chance of a fresh start for Fallon to experience what she had missed so much of before. I was right for having moved this up on my list. Now, I just need to find all the books that this magical voice has narrated and read/listen (even though I rarely listen to audiobooks because I read way faster than I can listen) to them because his voice is amazing. I could listen to him read the phone book it is that good.

Oh man is M. Never back and in her full assassin glory as she tells you a story of a redhaired vixen called Fallon.
Fallon is strong, deadly, and very much real in her emotions of the thing's she loves. She has 2 men who want her Declan or Ronin one wants to love her forever and the other wants to own her so much he's obsessed with her which might be a dangerous thing. This story had me turning pages as the character's had their roles to play in this angsty, sometimes funny, gritty story and talk about a plot twist thrown in there
