This was a good surprise- the start was a bit slow and rocky, but by the middle, I was in the thick of the story and racing to get through. The story was interesting with the character development and also such an interesting perspective on food and Japanese culture/day-to-day life. At points, the audio was a bit confusing just because there are no chapter titles- so was a little confused by abrupt time skips/TOV changes/perspective switches, but overall very compelling and interesting. There are also so gory/squirmish-y bits that made me feel a bit sick (describing scabs and blood) so beware if you are sensitive too!

Cute, but the pacing was a bit strange and some plot points were so strong while others were strange and kind of 'glossed over' in my opinion. Loved all the book quotes throughout though and I did cry of course (but not really a surprise).

This was a tough start for me, but then it was so addicting and at times very hard to get through but also so incredibly well done. I was floored by the ending and the twists and turns of emotions throughout- would highly recommend.

Potentially my favorite EH to date- this one hit every mark for me and was just the right amount of spicy and wholesome and full of literature love. Excellent, excellent. Perfect summer/good mood book.

Slow, but cute! I did get a bit confused on the timeline jumping and there was A LOT of slang that I did not understand- but it was a fun and cute coming-of-age romance/friendship story. Very wholesome (mostly).

Quick, easy, fun- almost no attachment to the characters but they did have a strangely spicy story?? Kinda uncomfy at points though.

This had a tough start and was a bit confusing, but by the middle, I was so invested and thinking- "What would I do in this situation??!".  Very creative, fun, and interesting perspective on love, attachment, and relationships.

This was fun and so spicy- exactly what I was looking for a long-haul flight. Though I do wish the cover was slightly more discreet.

This was ok- not as interesting as her previous books (at least to me). I enjoyed the chapter on the Ikea effect, however. Really insightful and funny.
