A great read to provide context to a complicated reality in Palestine. I really appreciated the analysis in the conclusion.

I love this book soo much!! It is a desert island book for sure. I would be perfectly content to read it over and over. There was a missed opportunity to give more recognition to intersex, nonbinary, and asexual identities because they were definitely in the book!

Really well written. Heavy on philosophy, if that is your thing!

I liked the casual bi rep. 

I love these books so much it is hard to actually review them. This one was slower and more introspective. The action didn’t really pick up until near the end. Fugitive Telemetry didn’t factor at all to the story. In fact, reading it before this one instead of jumping straight from Network Effect was disorienting. 

I loved the writing. The first person perspective was so realistic and smooth. You forget you’re reading.

The book was incredibly researched and the content was compelling. I just didn’t like the writing style. I don’t like historical accounts that are just “this happened and then this and then this and then this”. It was also pretty settler colonial centered. Yes, it was all the terror committed by the settler colonials, but I was hoping for more Indigenous culture and lifestyle weaved in.

Absolutely stunning!

The timeline was a little hard to follow on audio and the ending wrapped up a little too well. The story was heartbreaking and emotional.
