This may have been the cheesiest novel I have ever read. Granted, I can be a bit of a book snob, but this was terrible. The plot was predictable, the characters stereotyped and artificial, and the dialogue forced. S suggested this read. We all felt a little badly because it was her first time joining us, we let her choose the book, and then we hated it. Oops.

Enjoyable intrigue - part drama, part mystery, unexpected plot twists keep you guessing.

The main character was pretty dumb. The whole book. Maybe because I'm not a mother, I just didn't get it... but she made some pretty terrible decisions and had complete tunnel vision about her son. And blew off her job, And she was a pathological liar. But I kept reading, so who is the actual dummy here? The best part? If she had done nothing, none of the bad things in the book would've happened.
The love interest was completely one-dimensional, and the resolution to the story was far-fetched at best. The villians had no motivation for doing what they did... it just didn't make sense.

Look Again is a real page turner and an emotional rollercoaster. It’s like a drama, mystery, and romance all rolled into one great book.

A small white postcard arrives in the mail and turns Ellen Gleeson’s world upside down. It pictures a young boy who looks startlingly like her three year old adopted son, Will, and states that the child was kidnapped several years ago from a Florida couple. A million dollar reward is offered for any information leading to his return. Ellen, a single mother and reporter remembers when she first met Will, a baby at the time, in the hospital recovering from heart surgery. She was told that his birth mother had abandoned him and he had tugged at her heartstrings. As a result she had followed the proper protocol with guidance from her lawyer and brought him home to be hers. Now she began to question if her Will could possibly be this missing child. Using her investigative skills, she begins to unearth details surrounding Will’s adoption that were unknown to her at the time, and fuel her search for further answers.

This is a great story. It had me at the very first sentence. Very suspenseful, engrossing, and heartfelt. I love how it ended as well.

A super quick read, great light summer reading. It's a heavy topic, but the book still comes across as a light read, somehow. It was good.

This is one of her books focused on very challenging life/relationship issues that make me believe I won't be able to read the entire book. But she breaks it down into digestible pieces, that add up to very powerful, dynamic explorations!

Lots of twists, some a bit more believable than others, but nonetheless a fun read.

Meh! Is "meh" a valid review? Oh well! That's all I can come up with after having my mind numbed by this improbably predictable story.
